Response to any emergency or disaster can and frequently does involve more than one agency. Disasters in particular will more often than not involve a response from numerous local, state, and federal agencies.

The links on this page will take you to the page dealing with each area of response.

In addition to the governmental response, various non-governmental organizations, or NGO’s, may be called in to provide various disaster services. The two organizations most likely to respond are listed below.
