I have included this page in the site, because I feel the information here does not just pertain to what is happening in the United States with regard to disaster preparedness and response. The web sites of other countries can add a different perspective and can also add to the information available in the United States. For those involved in the emergency services, the sense of “camaraderie felt in the US is an international sense of belonging to a profession which has a common goal and mutually shared beliefs.
