Amber Alert System - Information

I have provided information on the Amber Alert Systems in the U.S. and Canada in this web site to provide support to that effort and the work they do. Although it is not associated with emergency and disaster preparedness and response, I felt it important enough of a subject to include it here.

Please support the Amber Alert System.

Every year thousands of children turn up missing. The Amber Alert Program was established to alert people that a child is either missing or has been abducted. A product has been developed to help protect kids from being abducted. Its called the AmberWatch. Please read below.

Proactive protection from abduction is the key to saving lives and providing true peace of mind for parents and children. Attention is the Key to Prevention.

The Patented AmberWatch uses two of the human's most active senses to alert others of a potentiallly dangerous or life threatening situation. Sight and Sound

SOUND – Emits 115 decibels - When activated, the trademarked AmberWatch™ alert signal can be heard from over four football fields away. SIGHT – Super bright LED lights -When activated, the super bright lights can be seen night or day. Night time tests have shown that these lights can be seen over four football fields away.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of every AmberWatch goes directly to the AmberWatch Foundation, a separate non-profit that has created a child safety and awareness program called "Be Safe".
